Mellifiq combination of ozone and advanced air filtration solves sewage water odor problems
The waste water treatment facility in the countryside town of Torup and had long been troubled by odors arising from the incoming sewage water. After a short odor investigation, plasma treatment was chosen as the solution.
The effect of the treatment was non-existent and something more powerful had to be implemented. Initially, the Nodora ADS air filtration system was considered. After deliberation about high air humidity and very strict space requirements, the Ozonetech RENA Pro B2 ozone system was chosen to replace the plasma system. Going for ozone also eliminated the need to replace carbon material at regular intervals.
Mellifiq coordinated the installation and the odor problem was eliminated. In fact, the B2 model had so much installed capacity that it was able to run at 50% effect. The Ozonetech RENA Pro now runs 24/7 and keeps Torup smelling fresh.
