Chemical barrier for making Stockholm water supply even better
Norrvatten serves the entire northern Stockholm region, delivering the best drinking water quality in the world. As the plant is expanding its operation and capacity even further, it was natural to engage Mellifiq in their R&D project for evaluating advanced oxidation. Mellifiq consulted on the project and delivered an Ozonetech RENA Vivo turn-key ozone system as a long-term chemical barrier against micropollutants and to elevate the purity even further. The project now serves as the basis for the complete redesign of the entire water treatment works, taking drinking water quality to above excellent levels.
