Što je dopirani aktivni ugljik?

This method replaces additional impregnation in the production stage and substantially improves the H2S removal characteristics of the carbon compared to traditional impregnated activated carbon. During production, these crucial catalysts are integrated into the activated carbon, ensuring an even distribution within every pellet. This approach also leaves the micropores untouched, preserving their capacity for both physical adsorption and chemical reactions.

What's the difference?

Activated carbons commonly used for desulfurization are often treated with compounds such as potassium iodide— which is placed afterwards in the pore structure— in order to enhance their capacity to adsorb H2S. Yet, the impregnation process impacts a significant portion of the internal surface area, which also impacts the functionality of the crucial micropores. Unfortunately, these micropores hold the highest potential for adsorbing H2S found in biogas.
