The film industry is a hectic business, for many a lifestyle. Shoots lasting throughout the day in all environmental conditions make for the wear, tear, and fouling of props and stage clothes.
This time, our customer is a UK company active in this business, more specifically in the film production business.
The problem.
Amidst the Covid-19 pandemic, our London-based customer needed to secure the working environment for actors and personnel; All of these people shared and handled clothes as part of their work.
The company was therefore on the lookout for an effective disinfection solution. In addition, since the company handled both luxury clothing in exotic, sensitive materials and more sensitive props, it was necessary for the chosen treatment process to be gentle.

The production company ended up choosing us at Mellifiq, and we were more than happy to help them find the perfect disinfection solution! The company went for ozone disinfection due to its environmentally friendly and odor neutralizing properties.
When it came down to choosing the appropriate system model, the Ozonetech ACT-series was perfect for this type of light treatment. It removes persistent odors and provides a good, general disinfecting effect due to the germicidal capacities of the ozone. The ACT-3000 series in particular is very effective at handling small spaces, and in case more capacity is needed, there are other, more fitting ozone generator types available as well.

Evaluation.
With the ACT-3000 in place, the team at the production company can now reduce the amount of dry-cleaning and thereby reduce the costs and wear of maintenance.
