Mellifiq Secures Hospital Wastewater Treatment Project in Romania

Mellifiq is set to deliver a turn-key ozone solution together with our long-standing process partner for hospital wastewater treatment in Romania. In close collaboration with NDS Group, Mellifiq has designed a complete treatment process featuring advanced filtration and ozonation to eliminate pharmaceutical residues and microorganisms, ensuring compliance with emerging regulatory demands in the region.

The project is the result of several years of process development to adapt to increasingly stringent requirements placed on new clinics and hospitals. Mellifiq’s delivery includes an Ozonetech ozone system together with a Water Maid prefiltration solution to secure optimal performance and long-term uptime.

We are pleased to see this work materialize into what is expected to become a regional benchmark for hospital wastewater treatment. Mellifiq extends its appreciation to NDS Group for their dedication in securing the project. Commissioning is planned for early 2026.
