Mellifiq has signed a contract to deliver a project to treat leachate water in Sweden using advanced oxidation and sorption technologies. The design phase of the project starts in January and is expected to be completed in mid 2026. This is the first stage of future implementation at a heavily polluted recycling facility, built with a capacity of up to 5 m3/h. Leachate water is especially challenging due to the complex water matrix, and elevated levels of suspended solids and recalcitrant substances.

Mellifiq has secured another contract to deliver advanced ozonation equipment to a prominent Finnish university

Mellifiq is set to deliver a turn-key ozone solution together with our long-standing process partner for hospital wastewater treatment in Romania. In close collaboration with NDS Group, Mellifiq has designed a complete treatment process featuring advanced filtration and ozonation to eliminate pharmaceutical residues and bacteria, ensuring compliance with emerging regulatory demands in the region.

Mellifiq has secured a major order to design and deliver a full-scale treatment plant for the removal of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) at a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer. The project will span the next two years and includes a pilot phase, detailed process design, civil works, installation, and automation of the full effluent water treatment line.

The Vansbro wastewater treatment plant has completed its major upgrade, including a fully integrated multi-stage air treatment system designed to effectively mitigate odors and airborne pollutants from the facility.

Last week, Mellifiq embarked on a successful tour across Denmark to engage with key industrial clients, focusing on designing and delivering advanced air and gas treatment solutions for a wide range of large-scale plants. Applications include asphalt production, odor control for food manufacturing, and hydrogen sulfide removal optimization for biogas facilities.

Mellifiq had the honor of speaking at Avfall Sverige’s (EN: Swedish Waste Management Association) Industry Day, the leading annual event for Sweden’s waste and environmental sector. Our presentation focused on effective and optimized technologies for PFAS treatment, addressing one of the fastest-growing environmental challenges in the industry.
