Project description and aim
We are heading into several exciting projects to design and deliver turn-key systems for micropollutants (pharmaceutical residues) using our core technologies. You will be a part of the crucial start-up phases of the projects, comprising design principles, fieldwork at customers, sampling and analysis, and pilot project execution at our facilities. You will investigate the proper design and technology configuration for a full-scale installation based on the pilot project. The work will be conducted in the field and at our facilities in Stockholm, Sweden. The projects are strongly related to the scientific investigation of removal rates and LCA aspects of the complete design.
This project would include the following:
- Literature review
- Create a research plan according to the time schedule
- Preparation of experimental set-up
- Experimental tests and sample analysis
- Evaluation of technology combinations
- Thesis writing
During your work, you will analyze hands-on problems, providing suitable solutions to improve the water treatment. Therefore, you need to be results-oriented, with a mindset oriented to business and being able to work proactively.
The project is suitable for one student with the ability to work independently and creatively.
The following qualifications are required:
- Fluent in Swedish and proficient in English
- Bachelors degree in Process, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering or related scientific fields
- Have received high university grades
- Business-oriented mind
- Valid drivers licence
The interested candidate has the opportunity to work with a strong team of engineers and project sales individuals.
- Expected scope: 20 weeks, 30 HP/credits
