Mellifiq Secures Comprehensive Ground Water Treatment Contract

Mellifiq is proud to announce our latest contract with Fire and Rescue Service in Östra Götaland, Sweden, for a ground-breaking and innovative environmental project. This initiative is dedicated to treating surfactants and additionally removing PFAS residues commonly found in water at firefighting training sites.

This general contract involves extensive soil and highly contaminated groundwater purification using multiple water treatment technologies. We aim to achieve over 99% purification, with AxoPur® electrocoagulation, as the cornerstone in the treatment process. This method is enhanced by a series of multi-stage polishing treatments, ensuring thorough removal of recalcitrant pollutants.

The comprehensive solution includes project design, civil works, system installation, commissioning, operational testing, and two years of operational management. We are committed to setting new standards in groundwater remediation, with the entire facility designed to be weatherproofed against all climatic conditions.
