Mellifiq Secures Contract for Full-Scale Containerized Electrocoagulation Water Treatment Plant

Not long ago, we conducted pilot testing to demonstrate the efficiency of our Axopur® electrocoagulation system in removing heavy metals, suspended solids (SS), and COD, meeting strict discharge limits for process wastewater at a multi-million-dollar production facility in southern Sweden.

Following a thorough evaluation, the client has now chosen Mellifiq to deliver a fully equipped, all-weather, containerized water treatment facility. Process water will be collected in an underground buffer tank from several different locations within the factory, and the treatment solution will include an automated operation, flotation unit, chemical dosing, sludge handling, continuous monitoring and measurement, integrated pumping systems, and more.

The plant is scheduled to be manufactured, installed, commissioned, and tested during the fourth quarter of this year.

This is a significant reference project in an industrial segment in which hundreds of similar facilities worldwide could benefit from the same advanced treatment technology. With this contract, Mellifiq continues to expand its reach in delivering sustainable, high-performance solutions to meet complex industrial water challenges.
