Introduction.

Mellifiq removes COD by 80% with a turn-key ozone system

A floor manufacturer in southern Sweden is our client in this reference project! The family company started out as a common joinery in the 19th century, and during the course of the 20th century, they started specializing in floor manufacturing.

Having recently celebrated its 160th anniversary, the company products are more hiqh-quality and eco-friendly than ever.

The problem.

Industrial wastewater is especially contaminated when compared to e.g. household wastewater. Due to this, official regulations demand that companies have a treatment solution in place that makes sure the wastewater is sufficiently treated before it is sent into the municipal sewer system.

The floor manufacturer reached out to Mellifiq to obtain such a treatment solution, and we were happy to help them.

The solution.

This project was the first of its kind for this industry segment, which meant that we had to make sure that we took every single detail into consideration.

The preparatory work included a pilot project, evaluation and technical consulting. After we had finished analyzing the wastewater, we designed an Ozonetech RENA Vivo C8 solution that would treat the wastewater and make sure it is fit to enter the sewage system.

Being a turn-key solution, our RENA Vivo systems can start treating water flows with ozone as soon as they are delivered. The systems are fitted with several safety mechanisms and are very easy to operate using the intuitive control system.
