Mellifiq Expands Hazardous Waste Water Treatment Capabilities in Norway

Mellifiq is proud to announce a significant expansion of our environmental solutions in Norway, following the successful acquisition of Axolot Solutions AS. We have recently obtained permits to handle hazardous wastewater and have received our first batch of water for treatment.

This week, we have delivered and are setting up an advanced electrocoagulation system as part of our comprehensive waste treatment strategy. Over the coming month, our Norwegian subsidiary will be equipped with buffer tanks, fully containerized ozone systems capable of delivering up to 5kg of ozone per hour including mixing and automation, pressurized stainless steel degasing tanks for chemical and ozone dosing, multimedia filters, and final polishing filters before safely releasing treated water to the recipient.

The AxoPur® system, designed with double reactor configuration and automation, includes EC reactors and sludge flotation thickening to effectively separate high concentrations of contaminants. Our field engineers have commissioned the system to seamlessly integrate with customer discharge flows and adapt it for both continuous and batch operation, ensuring robustness trouble-free operation.
