About Nodora
If you are looking for the best industrial air filtration system money can buy, then Nodora advanced air filtration should be your firsthand choice. We are the leading developer, manufacturer, and exporter of efficient and sustainable industrial air filter for a wide variety of industrial applications.
Nodora offers a wide spectrum of high performance air treatment systems
Air filtration is critical in many industrial purification processes. Nodora advanced air filtration systems are the ideal choice for removing airborne pollutants in most industrial and municipal applications, as well as commercial real estate ventilation. Exhaust air is purified to the highest degree possible to tackle severe odor problems, VOC emissions and hydrogen sulfide.
The Mellifiq Nodora brand comprises the market’s most energy efficient air treatment filtration systems, with highly flexible installation and low pressure drops. Not only does it present an excellent stand-alone solution where limited footprint and environmental factors are paramount, all Nodora product lines are easy to integrate with technologies offered under Mellifiq’s Ozonetech and Ozonetech brands. This makes Nodora the number one choice for biogas plants, commercial real estate ventilation and industrial air exhaust, where our client’s operate under stringent effluent limits.

Hydrogren sulfide (H₂S) removal
H₂S, or hydrogen sulfide is a colorless gaseous compound that occurs in many industries, such as biogas plants, municipal wastewater treatment plants. H₂S is generated under anaerobic conditions creating potentially hazardous environments and severe odor problems.
Most H₂S in the air comes from sources in nature but there are also many industrial sources such as from petroleum and natural gas extraction and refining, pulp and paper manufacturing, yeast production, rayon textile production, chemical manufacturing, and waste management facilities. Hydrogen sulfide exhibits a strong and offensive smell with the characteristic foul odor of rotten eggs at higher concentrations. H₂S has also some toxic properties that if inhaled can cause respiratory depression, eye-, nose- and throat irritation, nausea, and dizziness.
Nodora CAT or Nodora AirKarb, provides the complete range of air filtration and odor removal systems that thoroughly tackles H₂S in all type of flows and industries.

VOC removal
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) emissions constitute one of the primary elements of air pollution in a wide range of industries, especially in production processes that use huge amounts of solvents or in food production as an unwanted by-product. VOC emissions, depending on its unique composition of compounds, are regulated by European and US directives and have significant carbon footprint.
VOC may be harmful pollutants in gaseous form emitted from various solids or liquids. VOCs are a broad range of various organic chemical compounds with a high vapor pressure at ordinary room temperature, which means that they easily evaporate. Some VOCs cause odor problems due to their high odor intensity. Many industrial processes effluent contains above average concentrations of VOCs and therefore need to be treated.
VOCs are often complex and require various treatment steps, involving both advanced oxidation process (AOP) and filtration. For full treatment of VOCs, we recommend a complete solution combining an AOP stage and Nodora advanced air filtration. Nodora offers a complete range of air filtration and odor removal systems which results in VOC emissions close to zero.

Restaurant and commercial kitchen exhaust odor removal
Flue gases contain a large variety of odor generating compounds. Other sources of unpleasant odor in a restaurant ventilation system are bacteria that feed of the rancid fat-deposits that are stuck on the ventilation duct walls.
A proper, continuous, and reliable treatment of the grease in the kitchen exhaust air, with an oxidation technology such as ozone treatment, is therefore necessary to reduce the emissions considerably. Total elimination of odors from the kitchen exhaust air, require a complete odor treatment solution that also includes a polishing step.

Odor removal from food production
Many industrial food manufacturing processes emit odors from various stages of the production when the product is refined or when production waste or wastewater is treated. Bread yeast production, is one example where the yeast undergoes various stages, including evaporation of excess water, to reach the desired texture, and hence releases gaseous compounds such as mercaptans and often responsible for odor problems way beyond the production facility.
Hydrogen sulfide, fatty acids and VOC are other examples of emitted gaseous compounds in food production that are a nuisance for the surroundings.
Depending on the specific composition of the exhaust, a well designed air treatment system incorporates multiple Nodora air filtration systems, preferably in combination with Ozonetech high performance ozone solutions.
