Water Maid EC products and spareparts for wastewater treatment

Electric rectifier
The electric rectifier is used to transform AC into DC being the form of current feeding the Electio electrocoagulation system. For an Electio reactor e.g. designed for a hydraulic capacity of 2 m³/h the standard rectifier is designed for 250 A and 30 V. The rectifier is equipped with a polarity switch in order to shift the polarity of the electrodes on a regular basis to ensure an efficient as well as energy efficient operation over time.
Water Maid EC Reactor
The reactor is the centerpiece of the Water Maid EC electrocoagulation system. The reactor is subject to regular exchange as it contains the sacrificing electrodes releasing the coagulants when direct current passes through them.
An Water Maid EC system always includes the rental of two Water Maid EC reactors – one installed and operational, and the other designated for upgrade or stored as a ready replacement for the active unit once consumed. For enhanced redundancy, additional reactors can also be leased. These extra reactors can be stored on-site as a preparedness measure, particularly in remote areas or locations with unstable access, such as islands or regions at risk of being cut off during crises. Standardized Water Maid EC reactors are available for hydraulic flows of 2, 5, or 10 m³/h, ensuring flexibility to meet diverse treatment needs.
