Waste storage

Waste management cycle is the process of handling waste from collection, transportation, sorting, treatment to recycling, energy recovery, and/or disposal or other releases to the environment, whether it is organic, industrial, biological, household, municipal, hazardous, biomedical, soiled or any other type of waste. Waste can be solid, liquid, or gases.

When waste is sorted, before it is treated or disposed, especially if the waste is hazardous, it will be stored in a temporary, often licensed, waste storage facilities. These facilities have oftentimes toxic off gases, that also spread mal odor to the neighbouring surroundings, and needs to be treated.

Activated carbon filters are one of the most reliable and safe way to treat the off gases from waste storage before releasing into the atmosphere.
