Mellifiq Secures Drinking Water Project with RecoLab
RecoLab, an urban planning and city development center focused on sustainable waste, wastewater and drinking water reuse development, has chosen Mellifiq to deliver a multiple-tech drinking water plant in Helsingborg, Sweden.
The plant is a part of an innovative reuse initiative, employing several methods to treat drinking water to comply with current and future standard. Mellifiq will contribute to the expanding development site by delivering a turn-key drinking water plant including several treatment steps, including particle pre-treatment, adsorption, biological activated carbon (BAC), ion exchange, and UV disinfection.
The plant is to be delivered fully operational and containerized in order to accommodate flexibility and stability without compromising current space.
The system is designed to treat at least 10 m3/h of water, purifying it beyond current standard with emphasis on emerging pollutants and microbial levels.
We look forward to working with Nordvästra Skåne Vatten och Avfall (NSVA) to develop the next generation of drinking water quality.
