Nordic Pulp & Paper Entrusts Mellifiq to Solve Wastewater Challenges

Mellifiq has partnered with one of the Nordic region’s leading pulp and paper companies to address upcoming stricter effluent regulations while expanding production capacity.

With tougher limits on dissolved organics in wastewater, the client turned to Mellifiq’s AxoPur® electrocoagulation technology to reduce chemical oxygen demand (COD) and secure compliance—without compromising growth.

A pilot project at a key mill has already delivered promising results, which will now form the foundation for a compact, energy-efficient full-scale installation. Notably, this marks the third independent project in just a few weeks where major Nordic pulp and paper producers have chosen AxoPur® for sustainable process water treatment.
