Vansbro Wastewater Treatment Plant Commissioned with Advanced Air Treatment System

The Vansbro wastewater treatment plant has completed its major upgrade, including a fully integrated multi-stage air treatment system designed to effectively mitigate odors and airborne pollutants from the facility.

The new treatment line combines several of Mellifiq’s proven technologies to deliver reliable and efficient air purification. The Ozonetech RENA Pro introduces ozone to decompose hydrogen sulfide (H2S) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs), while Nodora CAT provides catalytic polishing for stable long-term odor control. In the sludge hall, where VOCs are present at much higher concentrations, a Nodora AirMist wet scrubber ensures efficient emission management.

With this combined solution, practically all odors and harmful compounds are efficiently treated before the air is released. The result is a safer and more comfortable work environment while minimizing impact on the surrounding community.
